About This Collection

The Velvet Frost collection is for the winter table and the winter room — the one that feels warm against the cold outside. Deep emerald velvet. Tarnished silver that has held a hundred feasts. Heavy pewter with the dull, satisfying weight of genuine alloy.

Lyndze sources this collection from estate dining rooms and holiday dispersals, looking for pieces that still have the energy of the gatherings they witnessed. Entertaining pieces that earned their place at the table.

Tarnished American silverplate from Reed & Barton, Towle, and Wallace. Hand-hammered pewter with genuine tin-antimony alloy — heavier than it looks, and it doesn’t ring when struck. Deep emerald and jewel-toned silk velvet. Heavy crystal for the winter table.
