About This Collection
Industrial style gets done wrong more often than right. The real thing — a cast-iron bracket pulled from a Detroit factory, a foundry gear repurposed as a table base, an exposed-rivet beam mount used as a shelf support — has a weight and authority that no reproduction can fake.
Foundry & Forge is Lyndze’s hunt through salvage yards, architectural deconstruction sites, and factory dispersals across Michigan and Ohio. Everything here is the genuine article, with the wear patterns that only decades of actual factory service produce. Heavy cast-grey iron with authentic surface oxidation. Structural steel brackets with visible rivet heads. Sand-cast foundry molds. Industrial brass valves and gauges from early American manufacture. Architectural hardware designed to hold real weight — because it did.
