Vintage Aunt Martha's Hot Iron Transfer #9714 "Large Peacock Motifs," Peacock Embroidery Pattern for Pillowcases & Napkins

Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer #9714, "Large Peacock Motifs." The star is a large peacock trailing a full fan of eyed tail feathers through sprays of daisies, sized for a pillowcase or dresser scarf. A smaller peacock is marked "Guest Towel Motif," and there are two daisy napkin corners. The printed notes suggest working the peacock in outline, lazy daisy and single stitches, in blue, green, purple and bronze.

Includes: original envelope and the transfer sheet with printed instructions.

Dimensions: 7" × 5.25" × 1/8" (envelope)

Condition: Used, cut, and incomplete. The large peacock, the guest towel peacock, and both napkin corners are intact. Other sections have been cut away and are not included, including the scalloped edging designs shown on the envelope. The top right edge of the sheet is torn. Folding creases throughout. Red ink is still strong. Envelope is clean, with light wear.

Stitch the peacock across a pillowcase for a Gilded Estate bedroom, or tuck the small one onto a guest towel.
