Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer #9360, "Fruit Motifs in Cross Stitch," in the earlier blue-and-red "Usable Several Times" envelope. Cross-stitch fruit made for a week of tea towels: a pineapple, pears, apples, grapes on the vine, cherries and plums, each with its leaves. Every stitch is coded with a symbol, and the color guide on the sheet matches each symbol to a thread color, from rose, peach and lavender to dark green and brown. The printed notes cover hemming the towels to match.
Includes: original envelope and the full transfer sheet with printed instructions and color guide.
Dimensions: 7" × 5.25" × 1/8" (envelope)
Condition: Uncut and complete. A slight tear that doesn't touch any of the designs. Folding creases throughout. The ink has softened to a lighter red with age. Envelope shows wear, with a small tear at the left edge and a small hole near the right edge.
Cross-stitch a set of fruit tea towels for a grandmillennial kitchen, one fruit per towel.
