Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer #3661, "Dishes for Tea Towels." A set of pretty china for a week of tea towels: two teapots, a creamer, a teacup, a footed bowl and a pair of goblets, each one dressed in garlands of little lazy daisy flowers. It also has two round scalloped designs, a potholder and a doily. The printed notes suggest outlining the dishes in black or blue with pastel flowers, padding and lining the potholder, or adding a crochet edge to make the round design a doily. The envelope still carries its original 19¢ price.
Includes: original envelope and the full transfer sheet with printed instructions.
Dimensions: 7" × 5.25" × 1/8" (envelope)
Condition: Uncut and complete. Folding creases throughout. Red ink is still strong. Envelope is clean, with a small tear at the bottom left edge.
Stitch the teapot towel first for a grandmillennial kitchen, then make the potholder to match.
