Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer #3393, "Pillow Slips, Alphabet." Made for a matched pair of pillowcases: script "His" and "Hers" set in sprays of flowers, a full stitched-outline alphabet for monograms, a circle of blossoms to frame a center initial, and a vase of round garden blooms. The printed notes give thread colors and include thumbnail sketches for arranging the designs. The envelope still carries its original 15¢ price.

Includes: original envelope and the transfer sheet with printed instructions, plus a small loose block-letter "HERS" piece.

Dimensions: 7" × 5.25" × 1/8" (envelope)

Condition: Used and cut. A few alphabet letters have been cut out and are missing; His, Hers, the floral sprays, the monogram circle and the vase are intact. Folding creases throughout. Red ink is still strong. Envelope has light staining at the upper right and wear at the edges; the flap is intact.
