A solid, plain brass bud vase in a classic bottle shape, with a slim neck, a gently flared rim and rounded shoulders, set on a short stepped foot. The polished surface is mirror-bright with soft spots of age tarnish. It suits one or two stems, dried grasses or a sprig of eucalyptus, and holds its own on a shelf, mantel or desk. There are no maker's marks on the base.
